As a new parent, my perception of time has been profoundly altered – nights spent awake with a teething infant can seem endless, while three months of summer can fly by. At times I want to hold onto this little chubby toddler as long as I can (then I remember that eventually they do successfully get house-broken…moving forward is a good thing). Fortunately, it doesn’t mean that the vaccine was totally ineffective, and there are other things you can do to keep yourself and your family healthy this flu season.
