First “OnCall With Dr Darria” TV Episode – Heart Health and Learn CPR

Last week, we had our first filming for the TV show “OnCall with Dr Darria”!  As it’s not available in all markets, I will be posting the show in segments every other week.

Guests:

Would you know what to do if a loved one collapsed from cardiac arrest right in front of you? Watch the third segment and you will! I had some fantastic guests on this show, including Dr Jeffrey Popma, an interventional cardiologist on the Harvard faculty at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (http://services.bidmc.org/Find_a_doc/doc_detail.asp?sid=41414944414345) and Guy Caracciolo, an exercise physiologist at Dedham Health and Athletic Club (http://www.dedhamhealth.com/) and expert at training people at all levels–from young athletes to men and women who had had a heart attack. In addition, we had Dermot Lahey, a nurse practitioner at Beth Israel Deaconess Needham and certified ACLS and PALS instructor teach bystander CPR.  Enjoy! As always, I welcome your comments and any questions! For further information on resources mentioned, go to the “Dr Darria on TV” tab, and click on “OnCall with Dr Darria”.
